happy birthday, to me. :)

been celebrating my birthday the past week. :)
went k box today with my classmates.
really want to thank everyone who's been
or is going to celebrate my birthday for me :))

Seeing all the people who sends me greetings or celebrates my birthday for me,
I suddenly thought to myself, some of the crowd changes each year,
& those who remains, are the gems.
Rare gems I can never asked more for, they maybe scarce,
but they are precious, to me at least.

Never used to feel this way for my past 18 birthdays,
but somehow, today I'm nostalgic and confused.
had alot running through my mind,
not that i'm unhappy... just a lil' emotional I guess.

One song's running through my mind now & the lyrics goes :

I'm awaiting for someone to send me birthday wishes in the next 3 hours.
so at the very least I know, he cares.
maybe it won't happen, but it's still worth hoping for.
